Tabata Pro Interval Timer App on IPad, IPhone, IPod Touch



I can't speak highly enough about the Tabata Pro application on the IPad, IPhone and IPod Touch.  It's so simple and I use it daily with my clients and on my own workouts.  Very quick to set up and it's great for all interval training and timed exercises.

In today's post I'll walk you through how to set it up for the GTS April Tabata-A-Day Challenge.

Tabata Pro Quick Set Up:
- Set Preparation period to 10 seconds, more if you need more time to set up.
- Set Work period to 20 seconds.
- Set Rest period to 10 seconds.
- Set Cycles to 8
- Set Tabatas to 1, unless you want to do more, in which case set your preparation period to longer so you have some rest between each of your 8 set tabatas.
- Use the workout DJ feature to interlace songs or playlists in from your device.
- Set up to 3 timers with different intervals.
