GTS April Challenge Tabata-A-Day Day 20

Day 20 of the GTS Tabata-A-Day Challenge 

About time for another core exercise. Barbell Core Rotations or "Bus Drivers" allows you to train both the rotational and stabilizing aspects of your core.

Barbell Core Rotations (Bus Drivers)

  • Beginners/Intermediate - start with just the bar as resistance, and add 5-10 lbs at a time.
  • Intermediate/Advanced - start with a 25 lb plate, and add more as needed.

In Summary:
- Choose 1 exercise (or 2 exercises to alternate between)
- Perform the exercise for 20 seconds (counting the reps)
- Rest for EXACTLY 10 seconds (20 seconds for beginners)
- Repeat 7 more times (total of 8 sets) for 4 minutes.
- DONE! or you can choose another tabata to perform.

  1. BW squat and hold at the bottom
    Easy/easy/felt it/had to come up halfway to finish the time/rested on my arms a bit which didn't really help/resurgence of power/solid/finished strong
